Our Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT OF INVOICES

  1. We do monthly payments only; this is 4 lessons a month or 5 lessons a month if there are 5 weeks in the month. If you are unable to attend one or more of your lessons for the month, please see cancellations of lessons below which explain our process for any lessons you are unable to attend. We still require a full month’s payment in this event to ensure you maintain your chosen day and time for lessons for that month.
  2. Payment is due on the 1st of every month. We will send you an invoice on the 25th of every month. It is vital that you make payment of your invoice on time as this secures your chosen day and time of your lesson/lessons for that month. In the event we do not receive payment of the invoice or do not hear from you, we will assume that you no longer require your allocated day and time of lesson/lessons. We will then offer your allocated day and time of lesson/lessons to students on our waiting list to join the school.
  3. We require payment for lessons before the students attend lessons and we do not allow students to attend lessons if payment has not been made for the month.
  4. A late payment fee of £5 will be added to all invoices not paid 7 days after the invoice payment due date.
CANCELLATION OF LESSONS
  1. If you cancel your lesson on the same day, we do not transfer your lesson to another day or refund the cost of the lesson as teachers also travel to be at their lessons for you.
  2. If you are not available to attend your session and give us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, we can offer you another time slot if it’s available in the same week or the same calendar month; otherwise, we do not offer refunds for missed lessons as teachers also travel to be at their lessons for you and the school time table is set for the week/month. In the event that you are unable to attend one or more of your lesson/lessons for the month, we can offer you another time slot if it’s available in the same week or the same calendar month; otherwise, we do not offer refunds for missed lessons and require full payment for the month.
  3. If you are not able to travel to your lesson, we are able to do an online lesson instead at the same time as your original lesson time.
PERMANENT CHANGE OF LESSONS POLICY
  • If you request a permanent lesson time, day or both lesson time and day to be changed, we will do our best to accommodate your request if there are spaces available; if there are no spaces available we will not be able to change your lesson time, day or both lesson time and day.
  • If we are able to change your lesson time, day or both lesson time and day, once you accept your new lesson time, day or both lesson time and day; your previous lesson time, day or both lesson time and day will no longer be available as these lesson times and days will be offered instantly to other students who have made a similar request and to students who are waiting to join the school.
ACADEMIC YEAR
  • We do not have half term holidays during the Academic Year and the school is open as usual for lessons.
  • Our term dates for the academic year 06/09/2021 to 22/07/2022 are :
    TERM 1 06/09/2021 – 17/12/2021
    TERM 2 05/01/2022 – 03/04/2022
    TERM 3 20/04/2022 – 22/07/2022
  • At the end of term three, we offer pay as you go lessons till the start of the new academic year for students who want to continue lessons; this is also dependent on teacher availability.
