At age eleven, she joined the Royal Academy of Music Junior, then Senior Academy, a highly selective programme for gifted young musicians, and performed across North West London’s leading youth orchestras and chamber ensembles, winning consecutive national piano championships. She has since worked as a wedding performer, a professional recording artist, and a dedicated music mentor for secondary-school children. Nikki has also taught internationally in Taiwan, an experience that has given her a cross-cultural view of music and how it connects people across different backgrounds. Her teaching style is holistic and rooted in feeling as much as technique, with a real love for helping students connect emotionally with the music they play.
